Arrival and Parking information

Driving Directions:

  • Please park in Parking Garage #44 located across Curie Blvd from the Steller-Chance Building.
  • The lot will have a sign that reads "JSL Symposium Parking".
  • Inform the guard at the security desk that you are parking for the John S. Leigh Life In Resonance Symposium.
  • The guard will grant you access into the garage.
  • You may park anywhere you please, but keep in mind the location of the elevators/steps.
  • They are both located on the North-East corner of the building closest to Curie Blvd.
  • Walk out of the garage and cross Curie Blvd. Make a right and walk ~200 feet. Make a left and proceed up the stairs.
  • When you get to the top of the stairs, make a right and proceed down Guardian Drive (access street) for ~200 feet.
  • There will be a brick ramp on the left side of the street. Proceed up the ramp, through the double doors, and into Johnson Pavilion.
  • There is a security desk and PNC Bank ATM in the foyer.
  • Proceed straight through the next set of doors to go back outside.
  • Walk ~50 feet and make a right onto Hamilton Walk (Pedestrian pathway)
  • There will be a JSL Symposium Sign where you will need to turn.
  • Proceed ~100 feet and Stemmler Hall will be directly in front of you.
  • The doors into Stemmler Hall will be on your right directly after the bicycle racks.
  • There will be MMRRCC Staff / Security guards there to allow you access to Stemmler Hall.
  • Dunlop Auditorium is located on the ground floor.

Walking Directions from University City Train Station to the MMRRCC

  • Upon exiting the rail station, you will be on Convention Blvd/Ave.
  • Cross the street and make a left. Follow Convention Blvd. until the first traffic light (Civic Center Blvd.)
  • Make a left onto Civic Center Blvd.
  • Walk ~1500ft and make a right into the Children's Hospital Entrance.
  • Walk ~500ft and make a left onto Curie Blvd. Wood Care Center and Children's Seashore House will be on your right before you reach Curie Blvd.
  • Proceed on Curie Blvd until you pass under an overhead walkway. The doors to the Stellar-Chance Labs will be will be directly on your right

Walking Directions from University City Train Station to the Stemmler Hall/Dunlop Auditorium

  • Upon exiting the rail station, you will be on Convention Blvd/Ave.
  • Cross the street and make a left. Follow Convention Blvd. until the first traffic light (Civic Center Blvd.)
  • Make a left onto Civic Center Blvd.
  • Walk ~1500ft and make a right into the Children's Hospital Entrance.
  • Walk ~500ft and make a right onto Curie Blvd. Wood Care Center and Children's Seashore House will be on your right before you reach Curie Blvd.
  • Proceed on Curie Blvd until you pass the Clinical Research Building on your right.
  • Cross the street and proceed up the enclosed ramp.
  • Following the ramp, you will pass a series of bike racks.
  • The entrance to Stemmler Hall/Dunlop Auditorium will be immediately following the bike racks on the right.

Directions from 30th St Station to Stemmler Hall/Dunlop Auditorium

  • The easiest way to get to Dunlop Auditorium from 30th Station is to take a cab. Walking will take ~25 minutes if you choose to do so.
  • If you would like to walk, Please click here for a walking direction. Please follow the light blue route.
  • If you take a cab, please inform the driver that you will be going to 36th St and Spruce St.
  • Upon exiting the cab, please walk along the foot path on 36th St going south (downhill).
  • Walk ~150ft and make a left onto Hamilton Walk. Stemmler Hall/Dunlop Auditorium will be ~100 ft in front of you.
  • If you would like to take a cab, please click here for a directions. Please follow the yellow route.


Directions from 30th St Station to the MMRRCC

  • The easiest way to get the the MMRRCC from 30th Station is to take a cab. Walking will take ~35 minutes if you choose to do so.
  • If you would like to walk, Please click here for a walking direction. Please follow the light blue route. After reaching 36th St. and Hamilton Walk, begin following the dark blue route to go the MMRRCC lab.
  • If you take a cab, please inform the driver that you will be going to 422 Curie Blvd. which is the exact address of the Stellar-Chance Building.
