The Center for Magnetic Resonance and Optical Imaging is dedicated to the development and application of innovative, novel magnetic resonance and optical imaging techniques.

The resource's Technology Research & Development sections drive several biomedical projects as well as provide resources for collaborative & service projects, and training. In particular, the resource develops instrumentation, methodologies, and data analysis techniques for the quantitative assessment of functional, structural, and metabolic parameters in humans with the use of multinuclear magnetic resonance, novel spectral, perfusion, functional, and optical imaging techniques.
